Terms and conditions of the use of our facilities
All our facilities are self catering.
Day campers not allowed, camps are not available for functions, braais, parties or picnics.
No pets allowed.
No smoking inside buildings.
Alcohol and drugs of any sort are strictly prohibited.
No children in pools or play parks without adult supervision.
Arrivals: Mondays from 09:00, other weekdays from 14:00 and Fridays from 15:00.
Vacating times: All week days by 10:00 and Sundays by 15:00
We apply the two night rule for weekend bookings for Friday and Saturday nights. It can also be used in conjunction with weekdays.
Camps can only be hired for a minimum of two consecutive nights.
Facilitators, presenters and kitchen staff that come in for a day, must be cleared in writing with the camp warden, beforehand.
Pricing and Booking Conditions
Decide on your dates, ask if it is available.
In order to start the booking process, we need a name for the group, the name of the responsible person, contact information and the size of your group and please request a booking form.
We will fill in a booking form, with the price, deposit and deposit date, final payment and date. There will be a REFERENCE NUMBER to be indicated on the deposit slip please.
Your camp will be provisionally booked until the deposit date. During this time we need to receive back your completed, signed booking form, together with proof of payment of your deposit. This will secure your booking. If this does not happen, your provisional booking will be cancelled.
If you book within 30 days of occupation, you have to send back proof of full payment, together with your completed booking form, within 48 hours.
We do not accept responsibility for a booking, unless we are in possession of a completed booking form and proof of full payment. Nobody will be allowed on the premises, unless we received full payment for the camp. Balance of fees payable 30 days before date of occupation.
Your deposit will be refunded in full, for cancellations at least 12 weeks before the date of occupation, but may be forfeited, in the case of later cancellations, if another booking cannot be found.
Booking cannot be moved to another date within 30 days of occupation. It will be treated as a cancellation and all monies will be forfeited.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR CAMP
Please bring own:
Cutlery and utensils
Detergents for kitchen / sanitisers for bathrooms
First Aid Kit
Own balls etc.
Decide on your policy regarding cell phones
Too many chargers will trip the electricity and usually inconvenience all
No noise outside buildings after 22:00 or before 07:00 in the morning - Also please tone down noise inside buildings after 22:00
No loud sound equipment or musical instruments to be used at the campsite at any time please, if in doubt, please liaise with Camp Warden
Our camps are not isolated - We are part of the Glencairn neighbourhood
To enter camps, use Main Gate ( GATE 2 ) - CODE to be supplied after final payment, closer to arrival, to be distributed amongst all drivers of vehicles by Camp Organiser
Please park vehicles in such way to allow for free movement of other vehicles
When using huge busses, first contact camp management prior to arrival, regarding entrance and parking - GATE 3 to be used
Our POOLS are LOCKED between 19:00 and 09:00 every day and CLOSED between 20 June and 16 September
